    • Eco-Conscious Materials: It's important to us that most of our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified. This means the fabric is produced without harmful chemicals and dyes, and is safe to wear against the skin.
    • Fair Labour Practices: Every staff member at our Toronto factory receives fair wages, medical benefits, and the right to work in a safe, secure environment. We know every staff member by name and have worked with our factory for over 10 years.
    • Local Production: dotty is ethically + locally made right here in Toronto. This reduces the carbon emission associated with long-distance transportation and supports our local economy.
    • Zero Waste Hangers: Plastic hangers are collected in our studio and then returned to our factory for reuse, ensuring they are never discarded.
    • No Hang Tag Program: We ship all our garments without metal pins, paper, or plastic attached to minimize the amount of waste.
    • Biodegradable Packaging: Every dotty purchase is shipped with a 100% compostable mailer, wrapped in acid-free, 90% recycled content tissue paper, and sealed with a recycled paper sticker.

    The Black Tie Blouse fits to size and can be worn to fancy or casual. It is comfortable, skims over the lumps and is soft and silky. Well done Dotty!

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this blouse. Sooooo versatile. The fabric is lux and drapes beautifully. Originally I wanted the Black Tunic, but it was sold out, so I contacted the Dotty’s site to ask questions about the Black Matte Jersey Tie Blouse and with their knowledge/insight, I confidently made the purchase :)

    And something that needs to be said: it's incredibly helpful (and brilliant) to have the very charming designer (Heather) post videos on social of her ‘rocking’ these pieces…this isn’t an easy task, but the end result is potential clients like me making purchases on the site confidently ;)

    This is the 2nd tie blouse that I have purchased; I really like this style! The fabric drapes beautifully and the matte black looks elegant whether I wear it dressed up or casual. Another great Dotty addition to my wardrobe!
